The naming of this beer draws inspiration from the colour of the Stout and the hard-working nature of a "Common" worker in the oilfield. The colour has a deep, dark chocolate and black characteristic, similar to the oil found locally in Alberta. In this oilfield, a Rouster is a hard worker capable of an assortment of jobs. This is a core value of Common Crown, as we strive to produce the highest quality beer for those who put in their own efforts and are spending their hard earned money on craft beer.
